Went here after a long move in day . Heard great things but our experience was horrible. The food is not great, if you’re looking for Tex-mex this isn’t the place. The good style is more authentic Mexican. I had reserved a table inside and was told only outside was available for 4. I went back up after about 10 min outside in the sweltering heat, I didn’t make a reservation to sit outside . The manager happened to be at the front clearing tables as he said and put us in the back by the restrooms and dirty waiter area . The table was wobble and we were afraid it was going to break. Queso was decent and the salsas are good but overall the food is not great and it’s about $30 a person. The rice was bland and the beans were sweet weird tasting. There was also a very nice table right behind us the whole time we were seated but they purposely sat us by the restrooms and this nasty room whatever it was.

Jaunita's was excellent. EZ 9/10. All sauces, beans and rice were great. We had the Spinach and Mushroom Enchiladas and the Chicken Enchiladas. Def delish. Took a bite and said WOW!. I can't remember ever doing that before. Service was attentive, anticipatory and oversll excellent from the pleasant server and we had a nice visit from the manager as we sat outside with our pup. So much food we brought some home enough for a whole meal. They surprised us with two bags of chips, 4 large salsa red and green, and a large pint of queso to go. Will be back for more and looking forward to going for breakfast.

Went in a few days ago, and my server was a trainee, Vince. Incredible guy, super charming and had some awesome recommendations, and was super fun to talk with. Food was awesome, hopefully we continue to be served by him in the future. 🫡

Juanita's Restaurant - I think fresh Mexican food & flavor. Not tonight, this was Plain Jane. Service - I kept trying to justify the lack of it on the fact that this is a college town with young servers. Yet most restaurants have young staff. Food Portion - we ordered Fajitas for 2. You will be surprised how small the plate is. Enough for 2 very thin tacos each. Food Quality - I swear the beans came from a can. What was supposed to be rice was served at room temp and crunchy. Server - Never asked how we were doing or refilled my sweet tea. The tea is the best part of the visit. Value - An order of Fajitas for 2 breaks down to $12.50 a taco. The location and surrounding offer so much to do and see. We had a great day in Bryan. The dinner cut our evening short. Going to bed now at a great hotel. That's tomorrow's review.

I always stop by at Juanita for some delicious enchiladas. The chicken used is very delicious and filed with flavor. I also order a side of beans and rice with the enchiladas. The restaurant also offer drinks and have tvs for entertainment. The front area you can observe the turf area and the back has a vide of a pool.
